Paul Chryst and his coaching staff are expected to take two running backs in the 2023 recruiting cycle, and now the first one is officially off the board.

Earlier tonight, the Badgers landed their third commitment of the 2023 recruiting class in three-star RB Jaquez Keyes out of Ironton, Ohio.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound RB carried the ball 94 times for 1,074 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. You can watch his highlights here.

Per 247sports, Keyes is the No. 412 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, the No. 28 RB in the country, and the No. 10 player in the state of Ohio.

The Ironton High School standout also held offers from Akron, Army, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Connecticut, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Kent State, Memphis, Pittsburgh, and several others.

Keyes is now the fourth commitment in the 2023 recruiting cycle.
