Wisconsin’s game against Ohio State will only be available on one streaming platform

The Wisconsin Badgers (16-8, 8-5 Big Ten) return to the court tonight against the Ohio State Buckeyes (14-10, 4-9 Big Ten) desperately in need of a win.

Well, there may be a limited number of people who will be able to watch the game. It will be exclusively available on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.

The Badgers have played Peacock games this season so far, including home against Tennessee and at Michigan State. The Badgers football team also played Rutgers at home exclusively broadcast on the streaming service.

Like it or not, this is the path of sports in today’s age. The NFL had a playoff game exclusively on Peacock, Thursday Night Football is on Amazon Prime Video and many lower-level sporting events are only on ESPN+.

Badgers fans may already have Peacock because of the earlier games on the service. If not, a subscription costs $5.99 per month, or $59.99 for the entire year.

The Badgers and Buckeyes tip off at 9 p.m. eastern, 8 p.m. central.

Wisconsin, amid a four-game losing streak, needs a decisive win in the worst way.
