Winn voted Huntsville Item Player of the Week
Nov. 2—HUNTSVILLE — After an online poll, Alpha Omega Academy junior Williams Winn has been voted The Huntsville Item Player of the Week, presented by Pizza Hut.
Winn led the Lions in all three phases of the game as the quarterback, defender and kicker for the Lions football team.
In the Lions final game of the season, Winn scored two touchdowns and rushed for 30 yards. On defense, he forced a fumble on the goal line and had several tackles. He also went 2/2 on extra points.
Other nominees were Huntsville's Braylon Phelps and Isaiah Collins.
