With the San Francisco 49ers holding home field and beating the Vikings Saturday at Levi's Stadium, the Seahawks will now be heading to the Bay Area for a matchup against the 49ers in the NFC Championship. That's assuming the Seahawks are able to beat the Packers on Sunday, of course.
A 49ers win guarantees Seattle will not host a playoff game this season.
The potential Seattle-San Francisco would be their third meeting this season, with the first two being two of the most exciting games of the season.
In their first meeting on November 11th, the Seahawks won in overtime, 27-24. In the second meeting on December 29th, the 49ers stopped Jacob Hollister on the one inch line to beat the Seahawks, 26-21.
That game would take place at 3:40pm on Fox.
