Who will win the 2023 NBA Finals after the dust settles from the 2023 NBA trade deadline? The Phoenix Suns made a massive splash under new team owner Matt Ishbia by trading for Brooklyn Nets superstar forward Kevin Durant, but they did so from a position of relative weakness.
The Boston Celtics, on the other hand, made but a minor move at the deadline, swapping reserve forward Justin Jackson, Jr. and draft assets for Oklahoma City Thunder veteran big man Mike Muscala. Unlike the Suns, however, they made the fortifying move while possessing the best record in the NBA.
