Why Ravens' Mark Andrews trolled 49ers' Nick Bosa with flag celebration

Sooner blood runs deep, very deep.

So when 49ers rookie Nick Bosa trolled Baker Mayfield during the Niners' Week 4 win, Ravens tight end Mark Andrews took note.

Andrews was teammates with Mayfield at Oklahoma, so he had to get Bosa back by busting out the 49ers star's flag celebration once he hit the end zone Sunday during Baltimore's Week 13 clash with the Niners.

"Yeah it was a little comeback," Andrews said of his move to troll Bosa after the Ravens' 20-17 win. "‘Bosa, Bosa,' you know one of those things, just like he said ‘Baker, Baker.' It is what it is. Just having fun out there.

"You kind of talk bad about Oklahoma you're going to get reprimanded."

The beef started two years ago when Mayfield, Andrews and Oklahoma beat Bosa and Ohio State in Columbus and Mayfield planted the Oklahoma flag on the field after the win.

Bosa got his revenge by tormenting Mayfield at Levi's Stadium earlier this season, but Andrews had his former QB's back.

The Ravens were able to fend off the 49ers and grab a hard-fought 20-17 win at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, but expect Bosa to remember this should the two teams meet again in the Super Bowl.
