The Oklahoma Sooners have been on a tear in the last two months, picking up 12 of their 16 commitments since June 1. Brent Venables and his coaching staff are putting together a tremendous group with more commits coming on the horizon.

Several Sooners in the 247Sports rankings saw some movement, including center Joshua Bates, who earned four-star status. While still considered a three-star talent in the 247Sports Composite, his move in the 247Sports rankings is a sign that he’s on an upward trajectory.

Another player receiving a bump in the rankings is quarterback Jackson Arnold, who earned five-star status and is now inside the top 20 overall, according to 247Sports.

Seeing the biggest movement in the update was edge rusher Adepoju Adebawore, who jumped from No. 106 to No. 48 in the 247Sports rankings.
