Where Bengals stand in power rankings after free agency’s 1st wave

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t fare too poorly in a new set of power rankings after the first major wave of free agency.

In fact, in a new effort from The 33rd Team, the Bengals land in third place behind only the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Given the events of last year and simple projections, it feels like the Bengals indeed belong right near the two teams that made the Super Bowl last season.

Still, it’s interesting to see power rankings slotting them third after some high-profile losses in free agency, including Hayden Hurst and both starting safeties Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates.

The Bengals added Nick Scott to fill one safety spot next to Dax Hill and Orlando Brown to the offensive line but have yet to fill question marks at tight end and running back.
