The Cincinnati Bengals went from picking outside the top 20 in the 2022 NFL draft order after a 5-2 start to slowly inching their way back toward the top half of the draft after a two-game skid.

Before the Bengals play the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11, they currently sit with a 5-4 record and 17th in the draft order.

A jumbled AFC makes things interesting. There are three 5-5 teams in front of the Bengals in the order right now and three more 4-5 teams. A 4-6 record sits 10th overall. Which is to say, the team could always make a sizeable leap up the order if it keeps losing.

The Bengals don’t want to do that, of course. They’d rather improve some interesting playoff seeding right now. But to make that happen, they’ll have to overcome some terrible post-bye trends to take down the Raiders.
