What's next in the NBA playoffs? Pairings, bracket, odds for the NBA postseason

The NBA playoffs started early in the week with the play-in mini-tournament, but the 16-team bracket gets going for real this weekend as the Denver Nuggets look to defend their title.

Those Nuggets open Saturday night as a No. 2 seed against the No. 7 Lakers, who won their way into through the play-in and seem to be finding their stride.

Dallas is the only Texas team still standing after a strong close to the season behind MVP candidate Luka Doncic (well, candidate to finish second in the MVP voting behind Denver's Nikola Jokic).
