What in the world was Odell Beckham Jr. wearing at the Met Gala?
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. joined Tom Brady on Monday, but that wasn’t a good thing.

A year after people called Brady a vampire — among other things — for his Met Gala outfit, Beckham decided to take things to the next level.
Beckham showed up to the 2019 Met Gala wearing a suit and shirt with no sleeves and what we believe to be a kilt.
Did he pull off that look? You can be the judge.

Say what you want about Beckham’s outfit — and we’re sure people will have takes — but he went for it. He picked something that would get the same reaction as one of his one-handed catches: Shock, awe and confusion.
While the first reaction to Beckham’s outfit might be criticism, we feel we have to point out one thing:

If the nod to Ricky Vaughn of “Major League” was intentional, we have zero complaints about Beckham’s outfit. In fact, we would go so far as to call it perfect if Beckham was paying homage to Vaughn’s character.
Perhaps that seems farfetched, but Beckham is in Cleveland now. Vaughn played for the Cleveland Indians in the movie, so ... it’s possible.
Beckham, by the way, had fun with the look. He told Saquon Barkley the “bagpipes didn’t make it” into the Gala.

Beckham was far from the only athlete to show up at the event. He even took a picture with some of the other NFL stars there.
That’s Beckham with Barkley, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman.
Speaking of Brady, he seems to made up for last year’s failures. Brady’s 2019 outfit is more suitable for someone coming off a Super Bowl. Perhaps that may explain why Brady’s outfit last year had people thinking he was an old, dead mythical being. He was coming off a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez didn’t have to redeem last year, so they just decided to add yet another iconic look to their portfolio.

Tennis star Serena Williams stole the show with her look.

And former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick also made an appearance.

They were all joined by a couple other big-name athletes.
For those wondering, the Met Gala is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum Institute of Art Costume Institute. Tables for the event can cost between $200,000 and $300,000.
You also have to be invited to the event, which is why only the biggest names in sports, fashion and entertainment show up.
