Blade legend Wesley Snipes is "open" to the possibility of a cameo in Marvel's upcoming reboot.

Having portrayed the half-human half-vampire across three horror blockbusters – the last being 2004's Blade: Trinity – the upcoming MCU movie starring Mahershala Ali may look to tip its hat to Snipes.

And although the idea interests him, the Coming 2 America actor is seemingly yet to receive an offer to appear.

"You never know. Under the right circumstances, I'm open to play with everybody," he recently told ET Online.

"I know that people associate me with that role. Meanwhile, Deacon Frost star Stephen Dorff previously voiced his support for Ali's casting as the revived superhero.

"I'm happy for him. I think he'll do a great job with Blade and reinventing the franchise. It probably should've been done a while ago, but I think it's good for him."

Snipes will next be seen in Coming 2 America, which will be released on Prime Video on March 5.

The 1988 original Coming to America is available to watch now on Prime Video.
