Week 2 preview: Breaking down Pittsburgh by the numbers ahead of playing Vols

Tennessee (1-0) kicked off its 2022 season Thursday against Ball State at Neyland Stadium under second-year head coach Josh Heupel.

The Vols defeated Ball State (0-1), 59-10, in front of 92,236 in attendance.

Tennessee will play at Pittsburgh (1-0) Sept. 10 in Week 2. Kickoff between the Vols and Panthers is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT. ABC will televise the second Johnny Majors Classic at Acrisure Stadium.

Pittsburgh defeated the Vols, 41-34, at Neyland Stadium in 2021.
