TE Notes: T.J. Hockenson has become too big to fail. His beginner-level targets are of the utmost importance for backup QB Josh Dobbs. Consider it an extra boost for Week 11 that the Vikings are facing a Broncos defense surrendering the most tight end fantasy points. … It’s been something of a fallow period for Mark Andrews, but there is no credible reason to dislodge him from the top three. He went 5/45/1 against the Bengals in Week 2. … Sam LaPorta returned from bye to a surprisingly quiet effort in Sunday’s Chargers shootout. Fantasy managers can expect immediate atonement vs. a Bears defense coughing up the third most TE fantasy points. … Dalton Kincaid is fourth in tight end targets (24) during Dawson Knox’s absence over the past three weeks. The Bills are changing offensive coordinators, but new play-caller Joe Brady will have to keep looking his first-round seam stretcher’s way.

It was a rare spiked week for George Kittle with both Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel healthy. It was also a reminder of why we keep Kittle in the top eight despite his fantasy downside. The Bucs’ pass funnel will provide the opportunity for more big plays. … Dalton Schultz’s slow start has become the most distant of memories. All the way up to TE7 by average PPR points, he is eighth in tight end targets (56) even with the Texans’ bye mixed in. The Cardinals are a solid matchup. … Cole Kmet has supplied a solid baseline and touchdown upside no matter who is under center for the Bears. Chicago is going to have to throw plenty to keep up with Detroit. … Kyler Murray was like every other Cardinals quarterback in that he couldn’t stop targeting Trey McBride. There is zero reason to expect things to change against a Texans defense surrendering the second most TE fantasy points.

I have enjoyed Evan Engram’s PPR floor, but the touchdowns have been literally nonexistent. He has drawn only eight looks inside the 20. That lack of green zone emphasis combined with Trevor Lawrence’s struggles make touchdown regression somewhat unlikely. … With the Cowboys finally letting it rip through the air, you could argue I have Jake Ferguson far too low. There shouldn’t be many managers with the benefit of leaving him on the bench. … David Njoku is averaging eight targets over his past four games. Now he just needs Deshaun Watson (ankle) to be out there against the Steelers … and he won’t be. Njoku’s TD odds plunge with P.J. Walker/DTR under center. … Logan Thomas is arguably the most consistent pass catcher in the Commanders’ pass-heavy offense. The shell-shocked Giants are an attackable matchup. … Maybe we will finally get a Michael Mayer pop-up week as the Raiders hopelessly try to keep up with the Dolphins. … Even with the Chargers’ receiver injuries, it just isn’t happening for Gerald Everett.
