Broncos 12 - Raiders 37

Chargers 21 - Dolphins 29

49ers 13 - Saints 27

Bengals 10 - Steelers 36

Seahawks 16 - Rams 23

(7:41) The Steelers come away 9-0 for the first time in the history of the franchise. Their schedule is conducive to keeping that win streak alive.

(7:30) Seattle kicked a field goal and they need an on-side kick to have any chance to win, but that didn't happen. Wilson had a rough game, to say the least.

WR DeAndre Hopkins comes up big with a TD for the Cardinals to take the win away from the Bills in a miracle finish.

(7:16) Chase Claypool, nick-named Maple-Tron, scored his second touchdown on the day, putting the nail Bengals' loss. The Steelers lead 36-7.

Stefon Diggs makes an appearance in the end zone with a 21-yard touchdown for the Bills who are now on top of the Cardinals 30-26.

Devontae Booker scored another TD for the Raiders who lead 37-12.

(7:04) Down 23-26, Bills QB Josh Allen was picked off with 4:31 left to play in the game. The Cardinals, however, could not capitalize and are forced to punt the ball back to the Bills.

The 49ers muffed a punt and the Saints took back over on offense. RB Latavius Murray rushed then to the red zone, but it's Alvin Kamara for his third touchdown the take the Saints to 27-10 lead over the 49ers.

Russell Wilson is picked off again by Darius Williams for his second interception of the day.

Lock connected with WR DeSean Hamilton for a Broncos touchdown.

(6:54) Lock stayed in the game despite having issues with his shoulder/collarbone area. Deep in their own territory, he threw another interception, but the play is under review. The play eventually would stand as a catch/fumble, recovered by the Raiders. Booker rushed in the touchdown on the ensuing drive against his former team. The Raiders lead 30-6.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen scored a touchdown, but this play is also under review after Xavien Howard punched the ball out of his hands. The touchdown was confirmed on the field and the Chargers are fighting their way back 21-29. But it would be for naught. The Chargers, yet again, take the loss.

(6:50) After Russell Wilson overthrew D.K. Metcalf for a touchdown, he is sacked and fumbled the ball. The Rams continue to bring the pressure, keeping Wilson from explosive plays. The Seahawks trail by 10 at 13-23.

Kyler Murray's pass to Larry Fitzgerald is picked off after it bounced out of his hands. The Bills take over on offense down by three points with under ten minutes to play.

Jason Sanders' kick is good this time. The Dolphins are ahead 29-14 with four minutes left to play in the game.

(6:38) Oh my, a scuffle ensued in the Broncos-Raiders game resulting in a player from each team getting ejected.

(6:35) Jason Sanders missed a field goal for the Dolphins, but the Raiders field goal attempt is good from 22 yards out. The Dolphins lead the Chargers 26-14 and the Raiders lead the Broncos 23-6.

(6:30) Patrick Peterson for the Cardinals picked off Josh Allen, giving Arizona another shot at the end zone. They trail the Bills 23-19. Kyler Murray ran in his second rushing touchdown, taking the lead from Buffalo.

INJURY UPDATE: QB Drew Brees is officially questionable to return with a rib injury.

(6:20) Lots of action in the last few minutes.

Saints intercept Mullens' pass intended for rookie Brandon Aiyuk who already has a touchdown on the day.

Raiders Josh Jacobs scored his second touchdown against the Broncos.

Tagovailoa threw a touchdown pass to TE Durham Smythe (not Mike Gesicki). They go for the two-point conversion but it's incomplete.

Bills kick a 12-yard punt... yes, a 12-yard punt, which gives the Cardinals excellent field position but they settle for a field goal.

(6:11) Kyler Murray keeps it himself for a Cardinals touchdown.

Taysom Hill and Winston are swapping in and out at quarterback for the Saints.

INJURY ALERT: QB Jameis Winston is in at quarterback.

(5:55) Chargers add to their score with a touchdown pass from Justin Herbert to TE Hunter Henry and they are now down only by three points at 14-17.

Steelers' Chris Boswell kicks a 45-yard field goal to extend their lead 22-7 over the Bengals.

Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake turned the ball over on a fumble. This leads to a 22-yard laser from Josh Allen to WR Cole Beasley for a Bills touchdown.

(5:46) Another touchdown for Kamara! The Saints are ahead 17-10 over the 49ers.

Aaron Donald and the Rams Defense are making life hard for Russell Wilson. They are forced to kick a whopping 61-yard field goal to cut the Rams' lead to four points at 13-17.

(5:41) JuJu Smith-Schuster sighting! He hauls in an eight-yard touchdown for the Steelers. They lead 19-7.

(5:36) Lock took a big hit after already looking banged up. He stayed in the game after the hit as they try to connect in the red zone. A five-yard touchdown run by Lock was called back for offensive holding and backs them up 10 yards. The next play, Lock is intercepted again and the Broncos will head into halftime with no points on that drive.

(5:30) A long reception by WR Tee Higgins sets up the Bengals in the red zone. Steelers Defense holds and the Bengals opt to go for it on fourth down and goal. Higgins comes up big again with a touchdown for the Bengals who only trail 7-12.

The Rams and the Seahawks trade turnovers with Wilson getting picked off in the end zone.

(5:25) After a big reception by WR Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks are forced to settle for a field goal against the Rams. They cut Los Angeles' lead 10-17.

Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders' kick is good. They lead 17-7 over the Chargers.

Raiders also kick a field goal to extend their lead 10-6 over the Broncos.

(5:14) The Saints have only run seven plays so far with 11:28 left to go in the half. The 49ers have done an excellent job keeping the ball out of QB Drew Brees' hands, but a long first down to WR Michael Thomas moves the chains. They were forced to punt, but the football hit a 49ers player, giving the Saints another shot to score after they secure the live ball.

INJURY UPDATE: Brees was thrown angrily to the ground and landed poorly on his shoulder. He looks worse for wear and the act drew a personal foul penalty, which was debated by the announcers.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara scores a two-yard touchdown, tying the 49ers at 10-10.

Rams RB Malcolm Brown rushed in a seven-yard touchdown.

Steelers’ defense is giving the Bengals fits. They forced a turnover and take over on offense with a 12-0 lead.

(5:09) Steelers drive down the field on the shoulders of Diontae Johnson and James Washington. Johnson makes an excellent catch for a Steelers' touchdown. They lead 12-0 over the Bengals after a two-point conversion is over the head of WR Chase Claypool. Roethlisberger is still in the game.

(5:06) QB Justin Herbert rushes in a short yard touchdown on a very easy QB sneak.

(5:00) K Tyler Bass is back at it again for the Bills with a successful 55-yard field goal. Bills are ahead 13-6 over the Cardinals.

INJURY UPDATE: QB Ben Roethlisberger spotted shaking out his wrist at the elbow. He appears to be injured after an incomplete pass in the end zone to TE Eric Ebron. Chris Boswell's field goal is good and they lead the Bengals 6-0.

Saints kick a field goal after the 49ers defense holds them short of the end zone. They trail 10-3.

(4:55) After the muffed punt, the 49ers face fourth down after Mullens was sacked for a loss of nine yards. They opt to kick the field goal and are ahead 10-0 against the Saints.

(4:44) Broncos QB Drew Lock threw a big interception and the Raiders take over on offense. Former Bronco, Devontae Booker, is getting plenty of action against his old team.

Saints muff the 49ers punt and San Francisco goes back on offense with good field position on the Saints' 49-yard line.

Chargers Defense forces a turnover on Miami and the Chargers now have possession on Miami's 19-yard line.

Cardinals settle for a field goal and trail the Bills 10-6.

(4:40) Bills kicker Tyler Bass has kicked a field goal that bounced off the uprights and in for three points.

RB Alex Collins for Seattle is in with DeeJay Dallas while Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde are out with injuries. If you recall, Collins took Irish dance classes to work on his footwork. He was out of the league for a bit but picked up by Seattle to cover all of their injuries at the position.

(4:37) 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk gets points on the board against the Saints with a four-yard touchdown. WR Deebo Samuel is inactive so Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne, and Richie James get their time to shine with backup QB Nick Mullens.

(4:27) Miami RB Ahmed is showing his rushing chops. He carries the Dolphins to the 10-yard line in Chargers' territory but they settle for a Jason Sanders field goal. An offside penalty on the defense gives Miami another chance set of downs and they opt to take the points off the board. QB Tua Tagovailoa delivered a deep corner pass to WR DeVante Parker for a touchdown. The play is under review, and it looks like Parker may not have gotten in bounds. The play was overturned. But WR Jakeem Grant pulls through for a Miami TD who now lead 14-0.

Steelers have to send out the field goal unit on a windy day in Pittsburgh. Boswell's kick is good after a fumble by WR Alex Erickson on the Bengals turned the ball over to the Steelers.

Seattle makes a big stop against the Rams who have to settle for a field goal.

Raiders Defense hold the Broncos to a field goal.

(4:22) Bills pull a little trick play with a hand off to WR Isaiah McKenzie who then passed it back to QB Josh Allen for a touchdown.

(4:16) Let's go, 4:00 pm games! Raiders RB Josh Jacobs scored an 11-yard touchdown and Dolphins rookie RB Salvon Ahmed rushed in a one-yard touchdown. Looks like I'll need to crack my knuckles and get ready for some action after a rather slow start to the day.

(4:13) Cardinals kick a field goal to start the scoring for the late afternoon games. They lead the Bills 3-0.

1:00 PM EST Final Scores

Texans 7 - Browns 10

Washington 27 - Lions 30

Jaguars 20 - Packers 24

Eagles 17 - Giants 27

Buccaneers 46 - Panthers 23

(4:15) Washington kicked a field goal to tie the Lions. Detroit is near the 50-yard line, but they only have six seconds left. Stafford threw a quick pass to Jones and they have three seconds to kick a 59-yard field goal. Prater's kick.... is.... good! The Lions hang on to win.

(4:05) Brady finally connects in the end zone for a touchdown to TE Rob Gronkowski. They now have 46 points against the Panthers.

(4:00) What is this? We have another touchdown, this time for Houston by Pharaoh Brown (who?). They trail 7-10.

Lions are in the lead by three points 27-24, but their win is far from secure. Washington is on offense with 1:14 left to play and one timeout. Alex Smith has completed 35 passes, the most of his career, by the way. He's having quite a nice day.

INJURY UPDATE: Bridgewater is being evaluated on the sidelines after a low hit. P.J. Walker is in at quarterback.

(3:52) The Eagles Defense held the Giants to a field goal by Graham Gano. The Giants are still ahead, now by 10 points 27-10 with just over three minutes left to play.

No, I am not forgetting about the Texans-Browns. It's still 10-0 in favor of the Browns after Chubb's touchdown.

(3:46) I am never doubting Swift ever again. He has been instrumental in getting the Lions back into the red zone after Washington's score. Washington and Detroit are tied at 24-24 with just over two minutes to play. Washington's defense comes up big on third down and Prater came back on for a successful 37-yard field goal

Brady showed some physicality with a QB sneak into the end zone. That plant-based diet, am I right? They lead the Panthers 39-23.

(3:42) Adams returned to the game and caught his ninth touchdown of the season. They lead the Jaguars 24-20.

(3:40) The Lions are doing what they do best, losing a double-digit lead in the second half. Washington's Antonio Gibson rushed in his second touchdown of the game to bring the game to a 24-24 tie.

(3:36) Finally! We have a touchdown for Browns with a nine-yard rush by RB Nick Chubb who is just returning from injury.

Carolina's special teams return a punt 98 yards, which sets up a three-yard rushing touchdown by Bridgewater. The panthers go for the two-point conversion trailing the Buccaneers 32-23 but the attempt is no good.

(3:30) Brady and the Buccs are in the red zone once again with an Evans reception ... once again. However, INJURY UPDATE: Evans limps off the field to the sideline. The Buccs.... once again.... cannot get a touchdown in the red zone and they tack on another field goal. They lead the Panthers 32-17. I feel like we've seen this series before.

Jaguars RB James Robinson has had two touchdowns taken off the board due to offensive holding after this most recent infraction.

(3:19) Texans-Browns are still 3-0 in favor of the Browns. (Yawn). The Texans are planning on going for it on fourth down deep in the Browns' territory. After a timeout, Interim head coach Romeo Crennel changed his mind. Kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn missed the field goal.

Washington's RB Antonio Gibson rushed in a two-yard touchdown against the Lions to cut the lead 16-24.

INJURY UPDATE: WR Davante Adams is on the sideline and has not gone back into the game yet. Green Bay is tied 17-17 with Jacksonville.

(3:09) Jason Pierre-Paul stepped up for the Buccanneers, picking off Teddy Bridgewater. The Buccs drove to the red zone on Mike Evan's 500th catch of his career, but they have to settle for a field goal after failing to connect in the endzone. They lead the Panthers 29-17.

(2:57) WR Davante Adams fumbled a long pass from Rodgers and Jacksonville takes over deep in Packers' territory. RB James Robinson rushed in a touchdown, but a flag on offense negated the score. On third and short, QB Jake Luton threw a touchdown pass to WR Keelan Cole for his second touchdown of the day.

In the Eagles - Giants game, RB Miles Sanders gets Philadelphia to the five-yard line. In true Doug Pederson running-back-by-committee style, RB Corey Clement rushed in a touchdown. This officiating crew seems to be extra cautious as they take another long time to review the touchdown. The call did stand but their two-point conversion was unsuccessful.

Buccs RB Ronald Jones shook off his early fumble and took it to the house all the way from their own endzone for a 98-yard touchdown. Wow! The extra point was blocked, by the way.

(2:54) RB D'Andre Swift caught a 15-yard pass from Stafford and Prater's extra point is good. They lead Washington 23-3.

(2:51) The Giants were quick to drive back down the field on the Eagles and RB Wayne Gallman rushed in his second touchdown of the game. They now have a sizeable lead over Philadelphia 21-11.

(2:41) One sort-of exciting thing happened in the Texans-Cleveland game. WR Jarvis Landry lost his shoe. They are still ahead 3-0.

Meanwhile, Eagles RB Boston Scott broke off a long touchdown run but the play is under review after his foot appeared to graze the line out of bounds. After taking a long time to review, the play stands as called. Eagles’ two-point conversion is good by RB Miles Sanders. They trail only three points to the Giants at 11-14.

(2:31) Packers WR Davante Adams caught a touchdown pass but a penalty on offense took the score away. Adams only has five receptions six receptions for 38 yards so far. The time is ticking away before the half and Packers kicker Mason Crosby's 39-yard field goal was good. They lead the Jags 17-10 heading into halftime.

(2:26) The officials are taking quite a long time deciding whether or not WR D.J. Moore successfully came down with a reception. Eventually, it was ruled incomplete.

Lions kicker Matt Prater kicked a long 53-yard field goal to bring Detroit to a 17-3 lead over Washington.

Spoke too soon... QB Jake Luton for the Jaguars threw an interception, turning the ball over to Green Bay.

Interesting note: I believe the only turnover so far today has been by the Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones.

(2:20) Packers QB Aaron Keeps it himself for a five-yard rushing touchdown. Green Bay is leading Jacksonville 14-10.

(2:18) Evans gets two feet down to score a short touchdown for the Buccs on only his second reception of the game. The Buccs have tied the game 17-17.

(2:08) Texans cannot put points on the board after going for it on fourth down. They turn it over on downs to the Cleveland Browns who lead 3-0.

(2:05) Panthers kicker, Joey Slye, tacks on another three points to extend their lead over the Buccs by seven (17-10).

(2:00) Wow! WR Keelan Cole returns a punt 91 yards for a Jaguars touchdown. He turned on the jets and was gone.

(1:47) Lions strike again against Washington with a 27-yard touchdown to WR Marvin Jones this time. Despite missing WR Kenny Golladay, the Lions are utilizing their pass-catchers to put up points against the staunch Washington Defense.

Buccs kicker Ryan Succop kicks a field goal after a miscommunication between QB Tom Brady and WR Mike Evans prevents a touchdown. Evans appeared to pull up short on his route in the end zone and it's not the first time we've seen this kind of disconnect between QB and WR.

(1:40) Texans - Browns kicked off after a weather delay. RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are marching down the field on the Texans. Hunt broke a tackle... actually, he just drove right through the entire defense to pick up the first down.

Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (with a block from the officials) scored a 78-yard touchdown.

(1:35) The Giants are marching up and down the field on a mostly-healthy Eagles team. RB Wayne Gallman rushed in a 2-yard touchdown to extend their lead 14-3.

Panthers WR D.J. Moore scored a 24-yard touchdown despite being considered a "sit" candidate for this week. The Panthers lead the Buccs 14-7.

(1:26) Buccaneers strike back against the Panthers with a touchdown to TE Cameron Brate. They are tied at 7-7.

The Eagles have to settle for a field goal against the Giants. They trail 3-7.

INJURY UPDATE: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert was taken off the field and spotted heading into the medical tent. The eyes above saw something they didn't like in Goedert as a possible concussion evaluation.

(1:15) Touchdown (and his very first touch in the NFL) for Panthers TE Colin Thompson after the Jones fumble.

Lions WR Marvin Hall caught a long touchdown pass from QB Matthew Stafford against the Washington Football Team.

(1:10) Giants QB Daniel Jones remained upright as he rushed in a 34-yard touchdown.

Jags are the first to score in their matchup against Green Bay with a field goal.

Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones fumbled (again) and the Panthers recover. We'll probably see a healthy dose of the Leonard Fournette now.

(1:03) WEATHER DELAY IN CLEVELAND
