How to watch Wizards vs. Warriors originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Wizards snapped a six-game losing streak to one team with a 131-116 victory over the Magic in Orlando on Wednesday. For the first time in a long time, they fielded a lineup that was close to full strength, including Bradley Beal who missed the previous five games with a hip contusion.

Beal revealed after the game that an inflamed nerve had further complicated his recovery. It seems like he and the Wizards training staff will have some difficult decisions to make with the schedule set to pick up quickly.

The Wizards will look to build momentum in the final stretch of the season. They travel to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors on Friday and look to match the Warriors' firepower from deep. After shooting 52.8% from the arc and hitting 19 3-pointers against the Magic, they should be confident in their ability to do it.

Here's everything you need to know about the game.

WIZARDS vs WARRIORS WHAT TO WATCH

  • Beal dropped 26 points and 5 assists against the Magic, playing through nerve inflammation that he and Wizards training staff will have to manage as they gear up to play 13 more games in the second half of April. They'll have to find the right balance of rest and work knowing that the Wizards will struggle without the league's leading scorer on the floor.

  • The Warriors were one of the few teams on a steeper slide than the Wizards coming into Wednesday night. Before coming back to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 122-121, the Wizards had lost seven of their last eight games. It took Beal's return to help the Wizards get over their losing streak and Steph brought that same leadership against the Bucks as he battled through a tailbone injury.

  • The Warriors (24-27 overall) have underperformed this year and their recent run of performances have only made their playoff push that much tougher. The Wizards (18-32) dropped to 13th after losing six in a row, putting a damper on an already dim playoff picture. One team will come away from Friday with additional momentum. The other will have to pick themselves up again, and quickly.

WIZARDS vs WARRIORS PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Bradley Beal, SG, Wizards (31.2 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 4.8 apg): Bradley Beal's return on Wednesday night saw an immediate shift in the Wizards' fortunes. He was able to battle through the lingering effects of his hip contusion and lift the Wizards out of a rut. The Wizards will need Beal—and the Wizards training staff—to ensure he's ready to go against the Warriors.

Stephen Curry, PG, Warriors (29.7 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 6.0 apg): Steph Curry was instrumental in the Warriors' comeback victory against the Bucks on Wednesday night. He dropped 41 points in 38 minutes on the floor. When he's less than 100 percent, the Warriors have struggled. When he's on like he was on Wednesday night, they can be tough to stop.
