WATCH: Tom Brady reacts to the 1st losing record of his career
There were bigger things at stake for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday than beating the Atlanta Falcons in their regular-season finale, such as keeping their key starters as healthy as possible for the playoffs.
After building a 17-10 halftime lead, the Bucs pulled most of their starters, and were outscored 20-0 in the second half on their way to a 30-17 loss.
That defeat gave the Bucs an 8-9 record for the year, giving quarterback Tom Brady the first losing record in a regular season in his entire 23-year NFL career.
