WATCH: Brady channels inner Gronk with great impression originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

The term "bromance" has been beaten into ground over the years, but it absolutely applies to Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

After nine seasons as teammates in New England, the two are back together again in Tampa Bay, and it's safe to say their relationship picked right back up where it left off in Foxboro.

Their on-field chemistry is still top-notch, but their off-field rapport might be even better than what they've developed on game days.

Need an example? On Thursday when asked about some of his favorite moments with Gronk, Brady relayed a story about a GQ photo shoot where Gronk didn't think he was in good shape, so he called TB12 up to have an offseason throwing session. So the two got together for a little practice, after which Gronk felt ripped and ready for action.

Solid story, right? But wait -- it gets even better thanks to Brady's pitch-perfect impression of the fun-loving Gronk. Check it out in the video below:

That's... simply tremendous. If Brady ever hangs up his cleats, he might have a future in comedy.

But Brady and Gronk still have plenty of football left in the tank before that happens. Gronkowski's seven touchdown receptions rank second on the Bucs and he's about to play a full 16-game season for the first time since 2011. Meanwhile, Brady has thrown 36 TD passes for only the second time in the last nine seasons and has the Bucs' high-scoring offense ready for a playoff run.

Hopefully Tampa keeps advancing long enough for reporters to ask Brady for some more Gronk stories.
