WATCH: Texas football releases hype video on first day of fall camp

Texas football players reported for fall camp on Tuesday.

There will be many storylines to follow over the course of the next month. Many position battles will take place, most notably at quarterback, along with several question marks along both the offensive and defensive lines.

The Longhorns are looking to have a bounce back season after an underwhelming 5-7 campaign in Steve Sarkisian’s first year. Texas was able to completely revamp their roster this offseason, adding over a handful of immediate impact players via the transfer portal along with the No. 5 recruiting class in the country for the 2022 cycle.

Texas’ social media department released a hype video on the first day of fall camp. Strength coach Torre Becton narrated a good portion of the highlight reel, putting an emphasis on selflessness and hard work.

The video features some of Texas’ summer workouts prior to fall camp, including players such as Jordan Whittington, DeMarvion Overshown, Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy.

The Texas coaching staff has done a great job implementing a new culture in Austin. The Horns will kick off the 2022 season at home against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 3.
