It has been over a decade since Georgia won at Alabama, but it is a little bit early for Longhorn fans to be wanting to play Georgia.

The Longhorns have to display consistency this season. Last year, Texas frequently played down to its competition. The Longhorns lost five one-score games in 2022 and will need to show more poise in order to navigate the Big 12 schedule.

Texas fans will get their wish regardless of what happens this season. The Longhorns are scheduled to host Georgia in 2024 in their first season in the SEC.
