Houston Texans rookie Tank Dell wanted the organization to come get him after his finished his collegiate career with the Houston Cougars.
The organization made good on Dell’s request, and the third-round receiver made good on his production through Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
On a first-and-10 from the Colts’ 23-yard line with 9:54 to go in the fourth quarter, Dell caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from fellow rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters Sept. 13 that Dell would see more snaps with the offense against the Colts.
“You’ll see Tank get more snaps, but Tank has done a good job with what he’s been given,” said Ryans. “He’s made plays for us and we expect to see the same thing this Sunday.”
