Thanks to running back Leonard Fournette's four touchdowns against the Colts in Indianapolis last Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are back to a .500 record on the road. They're hoping to improve that record this Sunday as they take on NFC South rivals the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Bucs (8-3) sit atop the division, with the Falcons (5-6) and New Orleans Saints (5-6) a few games behind. But Tampa Bay has already lost to the Saints this season, and can't afford another division loss in case head-to-head tiebreakers become a factor for playoff spots.
The Falcons used their running game to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, 21-14, to snap a two-game skid. Their last division win was a narrow 27-25 victory over the Saints the first weekend of November.
In their first meeting this season in Week 2, the Buccaneers won handily, 48-25, with Tom Brady throwing five touchdown passes. Tampa Bay has won 4 of the last 5 head-to-head matchups against Atlanta, including a win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last December.
