Sometimes, immense pressure can get to the greats. Even Steph Curry.

Curry was at the Oakland Coliseum on Wednesday afternoon to throw out the first pitch ahead of the Athletics' series finale against the Houston Astros and celebrate the three-year anniversary of the Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation.

The reigning NBA Finals MVP spent a bit of time inside the A's clubhouse and, of course, was handed a basketball for a high-pressure free-throw attempt on a mini-hoop with players standing around. Stephen Vogt, renowned in baseball for his all-too-accurate portrayal of an NBA referee, blew his whistle to give Curry to go-ahead to shoot.

In hilarious fashion, the basketball spun out of the hoop. Curry and the A's players had fun with the moment, which was captured and posted to Instagram by A's bullpen catcher Wilkin Castillo.

That was about the only miss of Wednesday afternoon for Curry and the A's.

Curry showed off his swing during batting practice before tossing out the first pitch with his wife, Ayesha, and watched as Oakland completed a three-game sweep of the Astros -- the team's first sweep in 32 series this season.
