WATCH: Stashed Celtics guard Yam Madar scores 15 points vs Panathinaikos

Stashed Boston Celtics point guard Yam Madar continues to shine overseas, having recently put up 15 points for his new team overseas, Partizan NIS of the Basketball League of Serbia and ABA leagues.

Madar signed with Partizan NIS to play with famed European coach Željko Obradović after events beyond his control pushed back his leap to the NBA with Boston landing veteran guard Dennis Schroder in free agency. That did not slow Madar down much, however, with the Beit Dagan native landing on his feet with Partizan, who he nearly managed to steal a win for against perennial Greek basketball powerhouse Panathinaikos.

While Madar’s buzzer-beater did not go in, there’s still plenty of footage to enjoy from his game against the Greeks in the video embedded below courtesy of YouTuber “High Quality Sports”.

You may want to watch it with the sound off if you don’t happen to speak the language of the broadcasters, but it’s still a good window into how Boston’s No. 47 pick of the 2020 NBA draft is coming along.
