Watch: Ravens kicker Justin Tucker with two doinks in the first half

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is one of the best in NFL history at his position. The Texas alum has a regular-season field goal percentage of 90.654%, which makes him the most accurate kicker in league annals. In the postseason, coming into Baltimore’s divisional round matchup with the Bills, Tucker had made 13 of 15 field goals, but missed one last week against the Titans — the first playoff miss Tucker had suffered since 2018 against the Chargers.

So, when Tucker misses one field goal in a game, it’s a big deal. When he misses two in a game, with both errant kicks doinking off the goalposts, it’s a REALLY big deal. But that’s exactly what happened in the first half.

Tucker’s first miss came on a 41-yard attempt with 7:40 left in the first quarter, and we can indeed blame Al Michaels for this one. You know better than to jinx the guy, Big Al. C’mon. Left upright doink.

And then, with 10:52 left in the first half, Tucker tried a 46-yarder, which doinked off the right upright.

How rare is is for Tucker to miss two field goals in the same game? Exceedingly so.
