The Seahawks had a guest after Friday's practice. Make-a-Wish kid Evan Manfredo was waiting for the players as they got off the field. He was connected via video chat on an iPad so that players and coaches could come say hello.
Evan had a fun interaction with Pete Carroll in which he shared that Russell Wilson is his favorite player. He also asked Carroll whether or not the Seahawks were going to win the Super Bowl this season.
"You bet we are," Carroll said. "You're going to be right there with us, cheering and going crazy, aren't you? The Seahawks need you for sure."
You can watch the full interaction below. It was a nice reminder that the team is still capable of touching the lives of some of their fans, even in a unique, pandemic-altered training camp.
