How to watch Penn State basketball’s Friday night game vs. Lehigh

Penn State basketball fans will be treated toa doubleheader on Friday evening in the Bruce Jordan Center. The Penn State women’s basketball team will open up the weekend with a game against Navy and the men’s team will host Lehigh for an in-state battle with the Mountain Hawks afterward.

Both teams are off to 1-0 starts this college basketball season. The men’s team took care of Delaware State on Monday night with a strong defensive effort and good shooting in a 79-45 victory. It was the first win for new men’s basketball coach Mike Rhoades since being hired by the program from VCU. Kanye Clary and Jameel Brown each scored at least 20 points in the season-opening win.

Friday night will mark the 43rd all-time meeting between Penn State and Lehigh, but this is the first game between the two in-state schools since 2010. Penn State is 31-11 all-time against the Mountain Hawks, and Penn State is 21-1 all-time in the series when played at home. Penn State has not lost to Lehigh since 1987.

The women’s basketball team opened the season with a 94-51 victory over Bucknell on Tuesday. Shay Ciezki led the Lady Lions with 18 points as six different players scored in double figures. Penn State will face Navy for the first time in women’s college basketball on Friday evening.
