Watch: Notre Dame assistant has still got it

Any college football fan is well aware of the name james laurinaitis.  The former Ohio State linebacker was a three-time consensus All-American, a Lott Trophy winner, Butkus Award winner, and Bronco Nagurski Trophy winner while also being a two-time Big Ten defensive player of the year with the Buckeyes.

Laurinaitis played eight seasons in the NFL with the Rams and Saints and this past off-season was brought in by his former Ohio State teammate Marcus Freeman to join Notre Dame’s support staff.

During Notre Dame’s collection of camps this week Laurinaitis, who was named to the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame ballot earlier this week, showed that he’s still plenty able to get low and wrap up while demonstrating a tackling drill.

Great form clearly shown here by an all-time great.

Is it too much to ask now to see Freeman do the same?
