Former Michigan State Spartans basketball star Magic Johnson threw out a ceremonial first pitch at the Gastonia Honey Hunters game on Thursday and it looked like a perfect strike. Johnson was there to support his friend Brandon Bellamy, who is the first African-American majority owner of a minor league baseball team.

Like I said, maybe he could have also given baseball a try after his basketball career was over — just like Michael Jordan.
