How to watch LSU softball’s rematch vs. Louisiana in the Baton Rouge Regional final

The Tigers softball team is one win away from reaching its first super regional since 2021. All that stands in coach Beth Torina’s squad’s way is a rematch against the Louisiana team that it beat 4-0 on Saturday.

The Ragin’ Cajuns responded with a shutout of their own, eliminating an Omaha team on Saturday night that had in turn eliminated Prairie View A&M earlier in the day.

LSU is outscoring its opponents 16-2 so far in the Baton Rouge Regional, and it will look to close things out against UL on Sunday. If the Tigers lose, they will play again in a winner-take-all Game 7.

Series History

Here’s what we wrote ahead of Saturday’s game:

This is a very tight all-time series. In the 21 matchups between the two programs, LSU holds a slight edge at 11-10. These teams split a pair of matchups against each other during the regular season with the Ragin’ Cajuns winning in Baton Rouge on Feb. 25 and the Tigers taking the rematch in Lafayette the next day.
