The Tigers couldn’t get it done on Thursday against Arkansas despite a late rally, and now, No. 3-seeded LSU faces elimination at the 2023 SEC Baseball Tournament on Friday against No. 10-seeded Texas A&M.

The Aggies won their opener with a nearly flawless shutout win over Tennessee but dropped their second game in extras with a walk-off from the Razorbacks. In an elimination game on Thursday, TAMU took down South Carolina with a shutout win.

The Tigers will look to secure a win and earn a spot in the semifinals. If not, they’re going home and will await their regional fate on Sunday.
