How to watch & live stream: Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams in Week 10 originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

A familiar foe is on the calendar for Week 10.

The Seattle Seahawks have a date with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for the first time this season, and as always, it will be an important clash between the prominent NFC West rivals.

The Seahawks (6-2) are coming off a loss to the Bills, arguably their worst performance of the season. Seattle became the NFL’s sixth team to score 25 points or more in eight games, but that didn’t matter in Buffalo. Seattle’s defense allowed 44 points, the most in coach Pete Carroll’s 11 seasons.

"So out of character across the board, I don't even recognize us," Carroll said after the 44-34 loss.

It’s been two weeks since the Rams (5-3) last took the field, falling to the Tua Tagovailoa led Dolphins 28-17 in Miami. Los Angeles had a bye in Week 9, giving it plenty of time to recharge the batteries and get up for a big NFC matchup.

“You want to get back and get playing, especially after a result you don’t love,” Rams QB Jared Goff said this week.

It should be a solid matchup between the two division rivals. Seattle has one of the league’s best offenses at the midway point of the season, averaging a league-high 34.4 points per game, but the Rams vaunted defense is also one of the NFL’s top. The Rams defense has allowed just nine passing touchdowns through eight games and has the No. 2 scoring defense at just 19 points per game.

There’s a lot at stake in this heavyweight throwdown for the division crown. Here’s what you need to know about the Seahawks-Rams Week 10 matchup:

QUICK HITS:

  • This will be the 44th meeting between the Rams and Seahawks. Seattle holds a 24-19 advantage.

  • Expect a nail biter, as three of the last four games have been decided by five points or less. Seattle is 1-4 in its last four contests vs. LA.

  • Russell Wilson needs one more win to break a tie with Peyton Manning as the NFL’s all-time winningest quarterback in a player’s first nine seasons with 93.

  • Tyler Lockett needs five yards on Sunday to pass Joey Galloway for sixth place on Seattle’s all-time receiving yards list with 4,458.

QUOTABLES:

Aaron Donald on containing Russell Wilson:

"It's happened multiple times over my career playing against him, where I have him wrapped up and he finds a way to get the ball away. He makes my job harder."

Pete Carroll on facing Donald, the NFL's two-time Defensive Player of the Year and this season's co-leader in sacks with nine:

"He's just a dominant football player," Carroll said. "He's as good as you can get. He's as good at his position as anybody has ever been. So, it's a real challenge to go against him and it's good for us. We need the work. We need the challenge. It's hugely important for us to be able to handle him and not let him be a factor, and that's what we're going to try and get done."
