It's John Tortorella time in Philadelphia.

The Flyers announced the hiring of their new head coach Friday.

The club is turning to the fiery, old-school bench boss following a 25-46-11 season, one of the worst in franchise history.

"John demands the best out of his players every single game," general manager Chuck Fletcher said in a statement released by the team. "He is a Stanley Cup champion and has a lengthy track record of both regular season and playoff success."

Fletcher and Tortorella addressed the media Friday afternoon in a Zoom interview.
