You do not want to miss this one.

Seven consecutive games at the Cotton Bowl for Texas-Oklahoma have been decided by a touchdown or less. This is one of the true rivalry matchups where you can actually throw out the record books. Somehow, someway, the game is close no matter what.

This week is expected to be no different. In fact, it may be more enticing than previous years with the Steve Sarkisian vs. Lincoln Riley storyline at the forefront. Two of the best offensive guru’s in the game will be facing off for the first time.

Texas enters the Red River Showdown as the No. 21 team in the nation with a 4-1 record, while Oklahoma sits at No. 6 and has not lost a game up to this point.

The Sooners will have to have a solid defensive performance in order to escape Dallas with a win in Week 6. The Longhorns have the No. 1 offense in the Big 12 in terms of scoring, yards, rushing, and passing efficiency. Can Oklahoma find a way to slow down Heisman hopeful Bijan Robinson? There’s only one way to find out.
