"I've been working hard with the team these days in camp," Balanganayi said. "We have a lot of kids coming back from last season and it's pretty exciting and everyone is fired up about the season."
Balanganayi discussed his latest recruiting news.
"I was able to go to Northwestern for the showcase camp back in June and that camp went pretty well. I thought that I did pretty well overall. They had a ton of college coaches at that camp and it was just a well run camp. I was able to talk to some college coaches at that camp including the coaches from Toledo, Eastern Michigan and a few other schools."
Balanganayi is also preparing for a very busy junior season.
"My coaches have been talking about having me play on both sides of the football. I've played on both the offensive and defensive line at the lower levels so it's something that's not a big deal to me. I'll play anywhere I can help the team and if that's playing both ways then I'm good with it."
Does Balanganayi have a dream school?
"I was able to visit Michigan State and it's a great school. I loved the campus and the coaches at Michigan State and I'd love to play for them someday. One of the coaches from Michigan State made an in school visit and unfortunately I missed him that day but Michigan State would be a dream school for me."
