During the 2020 NBA Draft, the Nets were a part of a three-team deal that sent Landry Shamet from the Los Angeles Clippers to Brooklyn.

A trade that he was excited to be a part of.

Shamet posted a video to his twitter playing Jay-Z's iconic "Empire State of Mind" track while pouring himself a glass of wine and having a nice steak in front of him. Safe to say Shamet was celebrating the next chapter in his NBA journey. Check it out:

The deal also included the Detroit Pistons, who sent shooter Luke Kennard to the Clippers. Rodney McGruder was also dealt to the Pistons from LA.

A second-year pro with the Clippers in 2019-20, Shamet averaged 9.3 points and shot 37.5 percent from three-point range in 27.4 minutes over 53 games (30 starts) with the Clippers in 2019-20. The Philadelphia 76ers originally selected Shamet from Wichita State with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft before trading him to Los Angeles on Feb. 6, 2019.
