Two days after Toronto posted a 34-point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors walked into the Air Canada Centre and stomped all over the Raptors’ momentum.

Golden State put on an absolute clinic in the first half, punctuated by Klay Thompson taking Serge Ibaka to school on a step back jumper. The Raptors forward hit the court hard after Thompson put on the moves, while Steph Curry and the Warriors’ bench savagely stole Ibaka’s soul courtside.

That clip just about sums up the first half perfectly, as Thompson and the Warriors went on a tear — posting an absurd 81 points over the first 24 minutes in Toronto. Golden State shot a mind-blowing 71 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. Toronto, meanwhile, went a comparatively measly 44 percent from the field and just 3-of-15 from downtown.

It was the most points the Raptors have given up in any single half at home in franchise history.
