John Wall's recovery from Achilles surgery seems to be going well.

Before the Wizards tipped off against the Celtics Wednesday night, Wall could be seen throwing down left-handed dunks in pregame warm-ups.

Wall ruptured his Achilles tendon after slipping in the shower in late-January and is not expected to return to the court this season.

For a player who relies so heavily on his burst and athleticism at the point guard position, it's definitely a good sign to see him easily getting up like he used to.

Of course, there's only so much you can take from a dunk in pregame warm-ups. There's still plenty of hurdles Wall will have to clear before he's ready to put a Wizards uniform back on, but if he hopes to live up to his massive contract, these small victories are a great place to start.
