WATCH: Jayson Tatum scores 44 points, 10 rebounds vs. Warriors (4/17)

Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum scored 44 points and 10 rebounds on 16-of-25 shooting from the field and 5-of-9 from downtown in last night’s 119-114 victory over Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on ABC.

Without Jaylen Brown in the lineup due a non-COVID illness, Tatum stepped up and continued his hot streak as the Celtics won their sixth straight game. During the win streak, Tatum is averaging 32.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists on 53.6% shooting from the field and 46.8% from deep.

The former Duke Blue Devil showed once again that when the bright lights are flashing on the big stage, like they were last night on primetime against two-time MVP Steph Curry, that he doesn’t shy away. If anything, he steps up to the plate and plays bigger than ever.

Check out the highlight video of Tatum’s 44-point performance in the clip above, produced by Celtics fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski.
