Fans of the Boston Celtics watching the team’s 98 – 97 win against the Orlando Magic at TD Garden for their first preseason game of the 2021-22 NBA season likely think of All-Star forward Jayson Tatum’s powerful baseline dunk when they think of his game against the Magic Monday night.
And while it was indeed perhaps the most impressive moment of his inaugural outing of the season so far, it was far from the only contribution the rising superstar unleashed on Orlando that night. In fact, the St. Louis native put up an impressive 18 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in the home win, showing off both his new physique and how it could help him bully his way to the cup as well his well-known finesse game.
