Watch: Jameis Winston hits Deonte Harris for a career-best 72-yard TD

Jameis Winston giveth and he taketh away. That’s the lesson he taught the Washington Football Team defense on Sunday, following up a poorly-thrown interception on his first drive with a long touchdown pass to Deonte Harris — putting the New Orleans Saints’ sparkplug in a big spot in front of friends and family visiting from his Baltimore hometown.

It was the longest play from scrimmage for the Saints since 2018, and the longest completion of either player’s career (Winston had passes of 71 and 70 yards in 2019 and 2017, respectively; Harris’ 55-yard reception from Winston back in Week 1 was his personal-best). Newly-signed kicker Cody Parkey nailed the point-after attempt to score his first points in black and gold, putting the Saints ahead 7-3.
