Nick McCloud only played one season at Notre Dame after transferring from North Carolina State but made that year count as he was a valuable cornerback on last year’s squad.

McCloud went undrafted this past spring but signed a free agent deal with the Buffalo Bills where he’s competing for a roster spot this fall.

The Bills played the Chicago Bears in their second of three preseason games on Saturday and McCloud picked off current Bears starter and NFL veteran Andy Dalton just before halftime:

The receiver fell down so it’s hard to make it seem like McCloud made some fantastic play, but he clearly took advantage of the situation on a day everything was clicking for the Bills.
