WATCH: First half highlights from Colorado-Nebraska

Through most of the first half, the Week 2 Buffaloes didn’t live up to their Week 1 dominance. Yes, Nebraska is a significantly better defensive team than TCU, but Colorado also committed several careless mistakes, including three offensive penalties.

Deion Sanders’ Buffs hit their stride late in the second quarter, however. Following a Jordan Domineck fumble recovery, Colorado finally got on the board late in the second quarter with a 31-yard Jace Feely field goal. Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig then picked off Nebraska QB Jeff Sims and Colorado capitalized with a Tar’Varish Dawson touchdown reception.

Colorado ended the half with another field goal to lead Nebraska 13-0 at the break.
