WATCH: Falcons defense forces Vikings fumble

The Falcons defense is taking advantage of every opportunity thus far in the first half against the Vikings. After coming up with a safety early in the second quarter, the defense forced a fumble minutes later and linebacker Lorenzo Carter nearly returned it for a touchdown.

Atlanta was forced to settle for another field goal, giving the team an 11-3 lead over Minnesota with the first half winding down. Check out the fumble and recovery below, as shared by the team’s Twitter account.
