No. 11 Texas went into Tuscaloosa to defeat No. 3 Alabama, 34-24. Ewers finished the game with 349 passing yards and three touchdowns. He connected on several deep balls and looked poised and accurate the entire night.
Ewers spread the ball around to several receivers as well. Tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders was Texas’ leading receiver on the night, hauling in five receptions for 114 yards. Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell each had over 70 receiving yards as well.
