Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon has emerged as one of the top potential 2023 NFL draft targets for the Detroit Lions. Witherspoon is one of the most-projected players to the Lions with the No. 6 overall pick.
It’s easy to see why. Witherspoon plays a physical, aggressive, press-man style that Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn favors. His tackling and “this dial goes to 11” attitude seem to mesh well with the type of squad head coach Dan Campbell wants.
