WATCH: Denzel Valentine makes great play to end the half

Former Michigan State basketball standout player Denzel Valentine has carved himself a nice career as a role player in the NBA. He spent the first four seasons in the league with the Chicago Bulls and is now in Cleveland as a member of the Cavilers.

Amidst a plethora of coronavirus cases, many players are forced to sit out of games, while others are forced to step their game up. Valentine was tasked with stepping up.

On the day after Christmas, the Cavilers took on the Toronto Raptors, where the Cavs won 144-99. Valentine had 17 points and 9 rebounds in the rout. Valentine also had a sweet play, getting a steal and slamming it home going into the half with all of the momentum.
