Watch: Delaware's Jamie Jarmon goes airborne for insane front-flip touchdown

On a day where college football players going airborne was the norm — see Miami and Arizona State players hurdle defenders — Delaware’s Jamie Jarmon pulled off an insane front-flip touchdown Saturday afternoon.

In Delaware’s game against Richmond, with Delaware trailing 28-21 with 10:16 left in the fourth quarter, Jarmon took the handoff as he came across the formation. Reaching the left side as he neared the goal line, he was up-ended by two Richmond defenders and he went flying into the end zone.

While he didn’t stick the landing, the wide receiver still deserved a 10/10 for his incredible touchdown effort, which tied the game 28-28 with 10:06 left. The TD sent Delaware into overtime for the first time since 2014 and first OT home game since 2012. The Blue Hens won 42-35 in double overtime.

Jarmon’s touchdown run was eerily similar to California quarterback Ross Bowers’ acrobatic touchdown last Friday night in an upset over Washington State.
