Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle DeForest Buckner has turned into a star in his season-plus with the team but even he has idols that he looked up to as a young player. That most likely includes Hall of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith.

The NFL’s leader in career sacks (200) seems to have a small feature in the second episode of “Hard Knocks: In Season” that will follow the Colts and their conquest of the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Getting a sneak peek into the new episode before it airs Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m. ET, Colts head coach Frank Reich is talking with the aforementioned Smith when Buckner came to “pay his respects” to the legendary pass rusher.

Take a look at the preview clip of the second episode, which is available on HBO and to stream on HBO Max.
