How to watch D.C. United vs. Toronto FC originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Winless in their last two matches, D.C. United is looking to get back to winning ways against a struggling Toronto FC outfit.

New coach Hernan Losada's group lost the last time out to New York City FC, who avenged the season-opening loss United secured in mid-April. Despite an ideal start in the form of a Nigel Roberta goal in the first 10 minutes, the Black-and-Reds fell victim to an 84th-minute equalizer before a heartbreaking stoppage time winner from the Sky Blues.

That loss takes a lot to get over and Losada's men will have quite the character test coming up a hungry Toronto side looking for its first victory since May 12.

Will D.C. United bounce back and secure all three points? Here's how to watch.

D.C. UNITED vs. TORONTO FC: WHAT TO WATCH

A gut-wrenching loss to NYCFC last Sunday will have to become a distant memory for the Black-and-Red for them to avoid a three-match winless streak. With an MLS break looming, and the Capital Cup exhibition games that will fill that those two weeks up, Losada's men has a great opportunity to put in

Though a killer instinct attacking third has been lacking for D.C. United as of late, their stellar defense and goalkeeping has been consistently giving them a chance. The team has conceded just one goal (in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Union on May 23) before Sunday's turn of events. Bill Hamid, despite a calf strain that saw him miss the opening month this season, has conceded his first goals vs. New York.

D.C. UNITED vs. TORONTO FC: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ola Kamara, Forward, D.C. United (4 goals, 1 assist in 7 appearances in 2021): The Black-and-Red has relied on Kamara's scorching hot boots over the last few weeks, as three of his goals on the season came within a two-game span. No other player has multiple goals for the club so far this season. Muted by the NYCFC backline, it was difficult for D.C. United to take their chances following the Robertha score.

Jonathan Osorio, Midfield, Toronto FC (3 goals, 0 assists in 5 appearances in 2021): With Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore past their respective primes, Osorio has been the force to make this Toronto attack click so far this season. United center back Frederic Brilliant and company must pay attention to his whereabouts at all times.
